THE PARALLAX

I see you in the distance,
I gaze at you everyday.
If only i had the courage to speak to you,
I wouldnt know what to say.

I see you in the corridor,
your arm grazes mine.
The thought you are so near,
sends shivers down my spine.

I see you with your friends,
and i know we' ll never be.
Thus my heart remains locked forever,
and you hold the key.

I see us walking on the beach
holding hand in hand,
feet sinking in the sand.
I know its just a dream
cause you are far out of reach.
